Kjær Management's approach to welfare innovation is strongly inspired by experiences acquired from developing countries with very limited resources. We work with the basic premise that there are a decreasing number of resources for the welfare system.
LEARN ABOUT WELFARE
"Necessity is the mother of invention" - go to Zambia to learn how to get more welfare out of fewer resources!"
Since 2006 the self rule in Greenland has received EU funding of almost DKK 200 million a year to expand the capacity of the education sector in order to increase the general level of education so much more Greenlanders will be able to work within the new strategic sectors when the traditional occupations disappear. The long-term goal is that Greenland should be able to support themselves without the block grant from Denmark and become an independent state.
INDUSTRIALIZED AND DEVELOPING COUNTRIES
Kjaer Management facilitates learning between industrialized and developing countries. The aim is to create the most value based on the resources that are available.
UNDER THE SURFACE
Many forget much more is hidden beneath the tip of the iceberg! On the surface, this person conflicts, but to get below the surface, it is often more complex.
PRIVATE CONTRACTORS (E.G. PHARMACEUTICAL BUSINESS)Do you sometimes find it hard to understand your customers' needs and decision-making processes; we can help you achieve better results with fewer resources. For example, we can assist with identification of requirements, including preparation of specification of tasks / services, the provision of beneficial effects to the customer, optimization of workflow and organization, leadership coaching and project management.
HEALTH & WELFARE (PUBLIC HEALTH CARE SECTOR)Do you sometimes find it difficult to balance assignments towards resources; we can help you achieve better results with fewer resources. For example, we can offer a service check on the organization, leadership sparring in relation to strategy development, change management, and various forms of support to the implementation and evaluation.
OTHER (E.G. NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS)Do you sometimes find it difficult to fulfil your ambitions; we can help you achieve better results, whether on a personal or organizational level. For example, we can offer assistance in developing goals and action plans, leadership sparring, coaching, courses and workshops.
Your curiosity and academic breadth meant the benefit was higher than expected – we learned something and we made our tacit knowledge explicit, because she knew how to ask about it and also did it.
- Signe Gredal Christensen, Special Consultant, working with the Greenlandic Training plan of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Church and Gender Equality, Government of Greenland
Your meetings/sparring for my coming development and annual report were inspiring. You were keen to ask me reflective questions; you expanded my vision and gave me an eye opener to see new angles and perspectives.
